Senyawa-senyawa tersebut secara mekanis mempercepat pemisahan lapisan oksida dari aluminium cair, serta menekan lapisan oksida tersebut dan mendorongnya ke dalam fluks.<\/li>\n<li>Arus listrik yang dihasilkan pada antarmuka tempat reaksi di atas terjadi juga menyebabkan lapisan oksida \u201ctercuci\u201d dan terputus. Oleh karena itu, keberadaan garam fluorin secara signifikan mempercepat proses penghancuran lapisan oksida pada permukaan aluminium cair, sehingga hidrogen dalam cairan tersebut dapat dengan mudah keluar.<\/li>\n<li>Fluorida (terutama CaF\u2082) dapat meningkatkan tegangan permukaan campuran garam cair, membuat garam cair dari oksida yang teradsorpsi berbentuk bulat, memudahkan pemisahan dari cairan, dan mengurangi kerugian yang disebabkan oleh terak padat yang terbungkus aluminium. Pertama, masukkan satu bungkus bahan pelebur ke dalam wadah tuang, lalu tuangkan logam cair ke dalamnya, dan aduk hingga merata untuk memperluas luas permukaan kontak antara keduanya.<br \/>\n\u2461Lelehan tersebut dimurnikan dalam tungku induksi. Bahan pelebur dimasukkan ke dalam tungku induksi, dan bahan pelebur serta lelehan dicampur secara merata melalui aksi pengadukan yang dihasilkan oleh medan magnet induksi guna mencapai tujuan pemurnian.<br \/>\n\u2462 Memurnikan dengan menggunakan mixer di dalam wadah tuang atau tungku, sehingga bahan pelebur tersebar secara mekanis di dalam cairan logam.<br \/>\n\u2463Lelehan diolah dalam alat pengaduk medan magnet. Metode ini memanfaatkan gaya elektromagnetik untuk secara terus-menerus mengalirkan lelehan ke antarmuka fluks-logam guna mencapai kontak aktif antara lelehan aluminium dan fluks. Semakin tinggi kecepatan putaran lelehan, semakin baik pula hasil pengolahannya.<br \/>\n\u2464 Pemurnian dengan fluks listrik. Dalam metode ini, logam cair dialirkan melalui lapisan fluks yang diberi medan listrik (pada antarmuka logam-fluks) untuk proses pemurnian berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fluxes_Used_in_Aluminum_Liquid\"><\/span>Bahan Pelebur yang Digunakan dalam Aluminium Cair<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Metode pemurnian dengan fluks memiliki efek yang baik dalam menghilangkan inklusi non-logam. Namun, tingkat pemurnian untuk menghilangkan inklusi non-logam dalam cairan logam bergantung pada sifat fisik dan kimia fluks tersebut. Untuk paduan aluminium dengan kandungan magnesium rendah, agen pemurnian klorida berbasis natrium-kalium banyak digunakan.
