Memperoleh logam cair paduan aluminium yang murni merupakan jaminan dan prasyarat untuk menghasilkan coran paduan aluminium berkualitas tinggi. Hidrogen merupakan sumber utama pori-pori pada paduan aluminium. Memahami dengan benar sumber pori-pori (termasuk sumber hidrogen, cara masuknya ke dalam aluminium cair, bentuk keberadaannya di dalam aluminium cair, serta cara pelepasan). Oleh karena itu, banyak peneliti berpendapat bahwa sumber utama penyerapan hidrogen adalah kelembapan di udara. Ketika suhu melebihi 400C, aluminium dan uap air di udara akan menghasilkan sebagian atom hidrogen dan sebagian molekul hidrogen. Yang pertama diserap oleh aluminium cair, sedangkan yang kedua masuk ke udara.<\/p>\n<p>Saat hidrogen dihasilkan, lapisan oksida juga terbentuk, yang tidak akan retak, sehingga dapat mencegah reaksi di atas hingga batas tertentu. Hanya ada dua faktor yang memengaruhi penyerapan hidrogen dalam aluminium cair: (1) kadar uap air di sekitar aluminium cair; (2) kepadatan lapisan oksida pada aluminium cair.<\/p>\n<p>Seiring dengan perubahan kadar air di udara yang terus-menerus, kadar hidrogen dalam aluminium cair juga terus berubah, dan jumlah pori-pori pun ikut berubah sesuai dengan itu. Kadar air di udara berkisar antara 3\u20134 g\/m\u00b3 pada musim dingin dan lebih dari 18 g\/m\u00b3 pada musim panas. Seiring dengan itu, hasil pengecoran menghasilkan pori terbanyak pada musim panas ketika kelembapan udara mencapai tingkat tertinggi. Jika permukaan cairan paduan aluminium memiliki lapisan oksida yang padat, hal ini dapat secara signifikan memperlambat laju reaksi antara aluminium dan uap air.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam proses kristalisasi logam, atom hidrogen, molekul hidrogen, dan hidrida mengendap dalam berbagai bentuk. Atom hidrogen berdifusi ke permukaan logam dan kemudian meninggalkan keadaan adsorpsi (menguap). Molekul hidrogen dikeluarkan dari logam cair dalam bentuk gelembung; hidrida dikeluarkan dalam bentuk inklusi non-logam. Ketika gelembung-gelembung tersebut naik ke permukaan dari logam cair, sebagian gelembung gagal mencapai antarmuka dan tetap berada di dalam logam cair sehingga menyebabkan pori-pori pada coran.<\/p>\n<p>Secara umum, pengurangan kandungan hidrogen dan inklusi dalam aluminium cair dapat ditangani dari tiga aspek: pencegahan, pengeluaran, dan pelarutan, yaitu:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cegah masuknya kelembapan ke dalam tungku (bahan baku, perkakas, dan sebagainya sebaiknya dikeluarkan sebanyak mungkin) untuk mencegah paduan menyerap hidrogen.<\/li>\n<li>Singkirkan inklusi hidrogen dan inklusi teroksidasi yang telah masuk ke dalam aluminium cair.<\/li>\n<li>Usahakan agar hidrogen dalam aluminium cair larut sebanyak mungkin dalam matriks paduan selama proses pembekuan, agar tidak terbentuk pori-pori.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Untuk hidrogen dan inklusi yang telah masuk ke dalam aluminium cair, hanya metode \u201cpengeringan\u201d dan \u201cpelarutan\u201d yang dapat diterapkan.
