Gas inert dimasukkan untuk menghasilkan gelembung-gelembung kecil yang efisien. Waktu pemrosesan yang singkat dan pengurangan penggunaan gas dapat menghemat banyak biaya. Proses penghilangan gas pada lelehan logam menyebabkan injektor yang terendam dalam lelehan berputar sehingga gas pembersih (biasanya gas inert) tersebar dalam lelehan berupa gelembung-gelembung kecil. Penghilangan gas rotari atau penghilangan gas impeler terutama digunakan untuk pemurnian lelehan aluminium dan penghilangan gas hidrogen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2669\" src=\"https:\/\/aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Rotary-Degassing-Unit.jpg\" alt=\"Unit Penghilang Gas Rotari\" width=\"400\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Rotary-Degassing-Unit.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Rotary-Degassing-Unit-240x300.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Aluminium cair bersifat sangat reaktif, sehingga ketika bersentuhan dengan udara lembap atau perkakas yang basah, air akan terurai dan melepaskan hidrogen dari cairan tersebut. Gas terlarut dalam jumlah besar ini terbukti memiliki dampak merugikan terhadap sifat mekanis hasil coran aluminium akhir. Bagi siapa pun yang memproduksi coran, sudah diketahui secara umum bahwa gas terlarut memainkan peran penting dalam distribusi dan jumlah porositas serta penyusutan. Kadar hidrogen terlarut harus dikendalikan untuk mengurangi limbah. Untuk mengendalikan gas dalam aluminium, pengecor harus melakukan dua hal: mencegah dan meminimalkan masuknya hidrogen ke dalam lelehan, serta mengukur dan menghilangkan hidrogen sebelum penuangan.<\/p>\n<p>Kemampuan untuk menghilangkan gas dari aluminium cair biasanya dicapai dengan menggunakan gas inert yang umumnya dimasukkan ke dalam cairan aluminium melalui alat putar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/id\/portfolio\/degassing-unit\/\">unit penghilang gas<\/a>. Proses penghilangan gas dibatasi oleh hukum-hukum termodinamika; ketika gelembung dimasukkan ke dalam lelehan, gelembung-gelembung tersebut mengapung ke arah permukaan untuk menyerap hidrogen. Dalam skenario terbaik, gelembung-gelembung yang jenuh hidrogen ini meninggalkan lelehan dan mengurangi kandungan hidrogen. Dalam hal ini, dari sudut pandang termodinamika, efisiensi pengolahan mencapai 100%. Namun, seiring berkurangnya kandungan gas dalam cairan logam, tekanan kesetimbangan hidrogen di dalam gelembung juga akan berkurang, sehingga jumlah gas pembersih yang diperlukan untuk menghilangkan sisa hidrogen harus ditingkatkan.<\/p>\n<p>Unsur-unsur paduan juga memengaruhi kelarutan hidrogen.
