Kualitas bahan cor sangat bergantung pada jumlah cacat yang terdapat di dalamnya. Salah satu cacat utama pada pengecoran near net shape adalah porositas.<\/p>\n<p>Saat melebur sisa aluminium, proses Teknologi Penghilangan Gas sangat penting untuk menghasilkan coran aluminium berkualitas tinggi.<\/p>\n<p>Hidrogen berasal dari air. Kelebihan hidrogen akan menyebabkan porositas dan penyusutan secara keseluruhan, yang akan berdampak negatif terhadap sifat mekanis aluminium jadi. Saat gelembung gas inert bergerak ke atas melalui aluminium cair, hidrogen berdifusi ke dalam gelembung tersebut dan menghilang. Sistem degassing tradisional membatasi proses pencampuran, terutama di bagian bawah, sehingga memerlukan kecepatan yang lebih tinggi, yang mengakibatkan turbulensi permukaan yang lebih besar. Gelembung tersebut berukuran lebih besar, dan proses degassing membutuhkan waktu lebih lama untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan.
