Beberapa orang menyebutnya sebagai pemurnian. Terdapat banyak metode pemurnian untuk paduan aluminium, yang dapat dibagi menjadi tiga jenis berdasarkan lokasi pemurnian: pemurnian awal sebelum masuk ke tungku (seperti pemurnian dalam wadah tuang), pemurnian dalam tungku, dan pemurnian secara berkesinambungan (on-line) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/id\/degassing-refining\/\">penghilangan gas dan pemurnian<\/a> atau pemurnian berkelanjutan di luar tungku. Saat ini, banyak produsen produk aluminium dan paduan aluminium di dalam dan luar negeri menggunakan cairan aluminium elektrolitik sebagai bahan baku. Meskipun cairan aluminium elektrolitik dapat secara signifikan mengurangi beban dan waktu peleburan serta menghemat energi, terdapat banyak karakteristik pada cairan peleburan tersebut, seperti kandungan hidrogen yang lebih tinggi, inklusi yang lebih banyak, inti kristal aktif yang lebih sedikit, dan suhu cairan aluminium yang tinggi. Hal ini sangat mudah menyebabkan cacat metalurgi pada billet cor, seperti porositas, inklusi terak, butiran kasar, dan sebagainya, yang berdampak negatif terhadap kualitas produk akhir.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk memastikan kemurnian bahan baku, cairan aluminium hasil elektrolisis perlu dimurnikan terlebih dahulu. Saat ini, metode yang umum digunakan adalah dengan menyuntikkan gas inert atau bahan pemurnian (umumnya bubuk aluminium fluorida) secara langsung ke dalam wadah aluminium melalui rotor atau pipa baja untuk memurnikannya, sehingga dapat mengurangi kandungan hidrogen, alumina, dan logam alkali dalam aluminium cair. Pengolahan dalam tungku terutama mengacu pada pemurnian aluminium cair di dalam tungku peleburan aluminium atau tungku penampung.<\/p>\n<p>Lelehan aluminium dan paduan aluminium di dalam tungku biasanya dimurnikan setelah penyesuaian komposisi paduan selesai dilakukan. Proses pemurnian terutama meliputi pemurnian dengan batu pembersih di dalam tungku, peniupan gas campuran, serta peniupan campuran gas inert dan fluks (yang dimasukkan dari bagian atas tungku, dinding samping, atau pintu tungku melalui rotor atau pipa) untuk menghilangkan lebih lanjut hidrogen, inklusi, dan logam alkali dalam lelehan aluminium.
