Filter busa keramik memiliki porositas tinggi dan luas permukaan adsorpsi yang besar, serta memberikan hasil penyaringan yang lebih baik terhadap inklusi berukuran lebih besar dari 10 \u03bcm.<\/p>\n<p>Mekanisme pemurnian sistem filter keramik: intersepsi dan pemblokiran merupakan metode fisik untuk menyaring inklusi, yang efektif untuk partikel inklusi berukuran di atas 50 \u03bcm, sedangkan partikel kecil berukuran di bawah 40 \u03bcm perlu dihilangkan melalui mekanisme adsorpsi. Inklusi didorong oleh aliran cairan untuk mendekati dinding filter. Kemampuan filter dalam meratakan aliran membuat logam cair, yang awalnya memiliki aliran turbulen yang kuat, berada dalam keadaan aliran laminar saat mengalir melalui filter. Setelah mengalir melalui filter, diperlukan area transisi yang lebih panjang untuk mengembalikan keadaan turbulen semula. Di zona transisi ini, aliran cairan belum berkembang menjadi keadaan turbulen yang stabil atau berada dalam zona aliran turbulen yang lebih kecil, sehingga mencegah oksidasi sekunder logam cair dan erosi cetakan, yang pada akhirnya memberikan efek penghalang terak yang jelas.
