Selama proses penyaringan, seiring meningkatnya kecepatan aliran logam cair melalui Filter Keramik Pengecoran, laju penghilangan terak awalnya meningkat, lalu menurun.<br \/>\nSemakin banyak jumlah pori pada filter, semakin kecil ukuran porinya, semakin halus struktur filternya, dan semakin baik pula efektivitas penghilangan terak. Filter Busa Keramik 50 ppi yang digunakan mampu menghilangkan terak pada baja 97%.<br \/>\n4.
