Metode filtrasi merupakan metode yang paling efektif dan andal untuk menghilangkan inklusi non-logam dalam lelehan aluminium. Berdasarkan sifat penyaringannya, metode filtrasi lelehan paduan aluminium dapat dibagi menjadi dua jenis: filtrasi permukaan dan filtrasi dalam; berdasarkan bahan penyaring, metode ini dapat dibagi menjadi penyaringan dengan bahan jaring (seperti kain saring, jaring logam, dll.), penyaringan dengan bahan blok (seperti lapisan partikel longgar, filter keramik, filter keramik berbusa), dan penyaringan lapisan cair (seperti penyaringan lapisan fluks, penyaringan listrik <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/id\/flux-refining\/\">pemurnian fluks<\/a>) tiga kategori. Pelat ini juga dapat disebut sebagai lembaran keramik berbusa berpori mikro dengan struktur seperti spons. Lelehan aluminium mengalir sepanjang saluran dan pori-pori yang berliku-liku saat melewati pelat filter, dan inklusi di dalamnya bersentuhan dengan permukaan bagian dalam pori bahan filter di bawah pengaruh pengendapan, inersia, gaya aliran, intersepsi, dll., serta menempel pada permukaan bagian dalam pori dan celah.
