Oleh karena itu, teknologi ini banyak digunakan dalam industri pengecoran, khususnya untuk produksi ingot aluminium murni dan paduan aluminium.<\/p>\n<p>Namun, proses pengecoran hot top rentan terhadap masalah-masalah berikut dalam proses produksi:<\/p>\n<p>1) Butiran kristal pada ingot berukuran kasar dan tidak seragam, sehingga mudah menyebabkan cacat permukaan dan memengaruhi sifat mekanis bahan yang diekstrusi selama proses ekstrusi;<\/p>\n<p>2) Komposisi produksinya rumit dan rentang suhu kristalisasinya luas. Saat melakukan pengecoran ingot paduan aluminium berkekuatan tinggi, mudah terjadi cacat seperti retakan pada ingot, struktur yang tidak merata, dan segregasi komposisi yang parah, yang memengaruhi kualitas produk.
