Melalui filtrasi mekanis menggunakan bahan keramik berbusa, seperti penyaringan, penangkapan inersial, penangkapan akibat benturan, penangkapan difusi, gesekan, sedimentasi, dan sebagainya, efisiensi filtrasi berbanding lurus dengan ukuran pori keramik berbusa tersebut. Semakin kecil ukuran pori, semakin tinggi kemampuannya untuk menangkap partikel-partikel kecil.<\/p>\n<p>2. Efek lapisan sedimen atau lapisan filter cake.
