Saluran aliran ini juga dilengkapi dengan struktur pembuangan yang dapat disesuaikan, yang terhubung secara hidraulik dengan sistem sekat, dan dapat menyediakan aliran udara yang dapat disesuaikan dari bagian bawah sistem sekat untuk meningkatkan aliran statis dan pengendapan media filter. Bagian bawah launder dirancang sedemikian rupa untuk memaksimalkan aliran fluida di bawah launder.
