Selain pistol semprot, batu tahan api berpori, dan bilah berputar, proses penghilangan gas dengan jet juga memanfaatkan pengadukan elektromagnetik dan teknologi vakum untuk menghilangkan gas. Setelah tungku peleburan dua ruang mengadopsi teknologi pengembalian asap, terbentuklah gas pembakaran yang tidak berbahaya bagi lingkungan, dan karena tungku tersebut berada dalam atmosfer reduksi, kerugian pembakaran logam pun sangat sedikit. Di sisi lain, tungku peleburan dua ruang juga memiliki karakteristik berupa beragam bahan yang dapat dimuat, jangkauan yang luas, tanpa garam cair, efisiensi termal yang tinggi, konsumsi energi yang rendah, serta pengoperasian yang aman.
