Cacat utama pada paduan aluminium cor\u2014pori-pori dan inklusi terak\u2014disebabkan oleh partikel padat seperti gas dan oksida yang tertinggal dalam paduan. Oleh karena itu, untuk mendapatkan lelehan berkualitas tinggi, tidak hanya diperlukan pemilihan proses peleburan yang tepat dan wajar, tetapi juga perlakuan pemurnian dan penyempurnaan lelehan sangatlah penting. Pada struktur metalografis setelah perlakuan pemurnian dengan fluks aluminium di pabrik peleburan, inklusi berkurang secara signifikan, inklusi tersebut berukuran halus dan tersebar merata, serta dendrit halus tersebar secara merata. Struktur tersebut <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/id\/alu-refining-flux\/\">fluks pemurnian<\/a> Perlakuan ini memiliki tingkat penghilangan pengotor yang tinggi dan efek penghilangan hidrogen yang baik.
