Flux pemurnian AdTech berbentuk partikel halus berwarna putih. Bahan utamanya adalah garam klorida dan fluorida, serta senyawa lainnya. Bahan pemurnian ini terutama digunakan untuk menghilangkan hidrogen dan terak oksida yang mengapung dalam aluminium cair guna meningkatkan kemurnian aluminium cair tersebut. Beberapa komponen dalam bahan pemurnian ini mudah terurai pada suhu tinggi.
