Oleh karena itu, dengan syarat tetap memenuhi efek pemurnian dan suhu pengecoran, operasi pada suhu rendah sebaiknya diterapkan sebisa mungkin untuk mencegah cairan logam menjadi terlalu panas dan penyimpanan panas dalam jangka panjang. Setelah logam cair dimurnikan di dalam tungku, jika waktu penahanan melebihi 4 jam dan tidak dapat masuk ke proses berikutnya untuk melanjutkan produksi, logam cair tersebut harus dimurnikan kembali.
