Namun, banyak produsen menggunakan aluminium bekas atau ingot aluminium berkualitas rendah saat memproduksi paduan induk, yang mengandung lebih banyak pengotor. Cara lainnya adalah dengan terlebih dahulu membuat unsur-unsur paduan tersebut menjadi paduan induk. Kemudian paduan induk tersebut ditambahkan ke dalam cairan aluminium. Saat ini, metode yang lebih umum digunakan adalah menambahkan berbagai aditif logam ke dalam cairan aluminium. Selain itu, terdapat metode penambahan lain, yaitu dengan menambahkan garam atau senyawa yang mengandung unsur paduan, dan unsur-unsur tersebut dilepaskan melalui reaksi substitusi dengan logam dasar sebelum masuk ke dalam cairan aluminium.<\/p>\n<p>Tujuan penggunaan <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/aluminum-alloy-additives\/\">bahan tambahan paduan aluminium<\/a>\u00a0adalah untuk memudahkan penambahan beberapa unsur paduan yang memiliki titik leleh lebih tinggi serta tidak mudah meleleh, teroksidasi, atau menguap, sehingga komposisi paduan aluminium dapat dikendalikan dengan lebih akurat.
