Metode pemurnian pengotor meliputi penyaringan dengan filter busa keramik, pemurnian dengan gas, pemurnian dengan fluks, pemurnian vakum, dan pemurnian oksidasi. Empat metode pertama digunakan untuk menghilangkan pengotor non-logam, sedangkan metode terakhir digunakan untuk menghilangkan pengotor logam.<\/p>\n<p>Saat lelehan paduan aluminium yang diregenerasi didinginkan, kelarutan gas berkurang, dan gas hidrogen yang semula terlarut dalam lelehan terpisah menjadi fase tersendiri, yang terutama membentuk pori-pori pada coran, sehingga akan menurunkan sifat mekanis coran tersebut. Selain itu, pengotor non-logam padat berupa alumina tersebar di batas-batas butir, yang juga akan menurunkan sifat mekanis paduan tersebut. Agar kinerja paduan yang diregenerasi tidak jauh berbeda dengan kinerja paduan yang dibuat dari logam primer, diperlukan proses pemurnian untuk menghilangkan pengotor dalam paduan tersebut.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6951\" src=\"https:\/\/aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Impurities-Refining.jpg\" alt=\"Pemurnian Zat Pengotor\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Impurities-Refining.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Impurities-Refining-300x240.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Metode Pemurnian Kontaminan Non-Logam<\/h2>\n<p>(1) Filter Busa Keramik. Dalam metode ini, logam cair paduan aluminium dialirkan melalui peralatan filter busa keramik untuk menghilangkan kotoran. Saat logam cair paduan tersebut melewati filter, partikel padat dan kotoran terserap dan terperangkap oleh filter, lalu dibuang.<\/p>\n<p>(2) Pemurnian dengan gas. Artinya, klorin dan nitrogen dimasukkan ke dalam terak selama proses pemurnian. Ketika gas yang dimasukkan tersebut menyebar ke dalam cairan logam, hidrogen yang semula terlarut dalam cairan paduan tersebut menyebar ke dalam gelembung-gelembung kecil gas yang disuntikkan, sehingga terjadi penghilangan gas, dan pada saat yang sama oksida serta kotoran tak larut lainnya dihilangkan. Sama seperti proses flotasi, gas tersebut teradsorpsi pada inklusi padat dan kemudian mengapung ke permukaan cairan paduan.<\/p>\n<p>(3) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/id\/flux-refining\/\">Pemurnian dengan metode flux<\/a>. Dalam metode ini, lelehan paduan diolah dengan fluks garam untuk menghilangkan gas dan inklusi non-logam dalam lelehan. Garam yang umum digunakan antara lain bubuk kriolit dan berbagai halida logam. Setelah dimasukkan ke dalam lelehan aluminium sebagai fluks, garam-garam tersebut menghasilkan gas halida aluminium dan kemudian menguap.<\/p>\n<p>(4) Metode pemurnian vakum.
