Kotak kepala ini dapat mengontrol aliran aluminium cair selama proses pengecoran lembaran. Kotak pengatur aliran ini terbuat dari bahan silikon dengan titik leleh tinggi. Apabila tingkat cairan pada kotak kepala berfluktuasi, tingkat cairan tersebut akan disesuaikan secara teratur dan cepat untuk mencapai kondisi yang stabil.<\/p>\n<p>Setelah menurunkan suhu kotak kepala yang dibentuk dalam kondisi vakum (juga disebut kotak depan atau pembagi), cacat butiran kasar yang disebabkan oleh suhu berlebih dapat dikurangi, reaksi skorifikasi oksidasi besi cor pada suhu tinggi dapat diminimalkan, dan kualitas besi cor\u2014pelat lempengan\u2014dapat terjamin.<\/p>\n<p>Karena peningkatan kecepatan pengecoran, ukuran fase kedua dalam struktur dengan perbesaran tinggi pada gulungan yang dilaminasi dan dicor menjadi lebih kecil, tersebar, dan terdistribusi secara lebih merata. Seiring dengan meningkatnya ketinggian vertikal interval kristalisasi paduan, kecepatan pengecoran-pelatikan harus dikurangi sesuai dengan hal tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk mengatasi pendinginan serta peningkatan kecepatan pengecoran dan pelapisan, berdasarkan peningkatan jarak antar rol nosel, metode distribusi aliran nozel harus ditingkatkan, dan keseragaman suhu serta tekanan fluida di rongga nozel harus ditingkatkan dengan memperbaiki distribusi blok pengunci pada ujung-ujung rol.
