Gas dan inklusi dalam ingot paduan menyebabkan pengelupasan, delaminasi, dan pecahnya ingot selama pemrosesan dan deformasi serta menurunkan kekuatan dan plastisitas logam atau paduan. Gas yang terperangkap akan menyebabkan gelembung pada lembaran, yang akan mengakibatkan apa yang disebut \u00abkeretakan hidrogen\u00bb, yang pada akhirnya akan menyebabkan kerusakan material. Metode ini mengandalkan putaran rotor berkecepatan tinggi untuk memecah gelembung-gelembung tersebut. Selama proses naiknya gelembung-gelembung tersebut, hidrogen dan inklusi padat dikeluarkan dari permukaan cairan logam berdasarkan prinsip perbedaan tekanan parsial dan prinsip adsorpsi, guna mencapai efek pemurnian.<\/p>\n<p>Kecepatan rotor memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap luas area penyebaran gelembung. Ketika kecepatan di bawah 280 putaran per menit, gelembung menjadi lebih besar. Seiring dengan meningkatnya kecepatan, area yang terpengaruh pun semakin meluas. Ketika kecepatan putaran meningkat hingga 410 putaran per menit, area penyebaran gelembung berubah secara signifikan, dan gelembung tersebar ke seluruh area. Ukuran gelembung memiliki pengaruh penting terhadap efek degassing. Semakin kecil ukuran gelembung, semakin besar luas kontak total dengan cairan logam.<\/p>\n<p>Penghilangan gas pada logam pada dasarnya dicapai melalui difusi hidrogen dari logam cair ke dalam gelembung. Peningkatan luas permukaan kontak gelembung dengan logam cair akan meningkatkan laju penghilangan gas. Selain itu, ukuran gelembung juga memengaruhi lamanya waktu gelembung berada di dalam logam
