Sebaiknya, suhu pemanggangan berada dalam kisaran 1200 \u00b0C hingga 1300 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan karakteristik lain dari penemuan ini, diusulkan suatu proses pembuatan filter busa keramik yang mencakup pembentukan suspensi air yang mengandung silikon karbida, alumina, sol silika koloid, dan serat aluminosilikat, pengimpregnasi busa organik dengan suspensi tersebut, pengeringan busa yang telah diimpregnasi untuk menghilangkan air, dan pemanggangan busa yang telah diimpregnasi dan dikeringkan pada suhu minimal 1150 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>Setelah filter dipanggang, silika koloid, serat aluminosilikat dan partikel alumina yang lebih halus berinteraksi untuk membentuk matriks keramik yang mengelilingi silikon karbida dan partikel alumina yang lebih kasar, serta memiliki fase pengikat utama berupa silikat aluminium. Pelarutan yang signifikan dari serat aluminosilikat dalam matriks keramik dapat dibuktikan melalui pemeriksaan mikroskopis terhadap filter busa keramik menggunakan mikroskop elektron pemindai (SEM).<\/p>\n<p>Suspensi tersebut juga dapat mengandung bahan tambahan lain untuk meningkatkan sifat aplikasi suspensi selama proses impregnasi busa organik. Contoh aditif tersebut antara lain agen reologi, seperti tanah liat, silika asap, atau pengental organik; bahan pembantu pelapisan, seperti alkohol polivinil; serta agen anti-busa.<\/p>\n<p>Jika diinginkan, filter sesuai penemuan ini dapat ditingkatkan lagi dengan melapisinya menggunakan bahan keramik tambahan yang memiliki komposisi yang sama, setelah proses pengeringan dan sebelum proses pembakaran busa organik yang telah diresapi.
