Namun, untuk aplikasi-aplikasi kritis, metode-metode tersebut belum berhasil mengurangi cacat tersebut hingga tingkat yang memuaskan. Umumnya, penyaringan logam cair aluminium digunakan untuk mengurangi cacat, yang sebagian besar disebabkan oleh inklusi dalam logam cair.<\/p>\n<p>AdTech merancang sebuah <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aluminiumceramicfiber.com\/id\/aluminum-ceramic-foam-filter\/\">filter busa keramik<\/a>, yang sangat bermanfaat dalam penyaringan logam cair, terutama aluminium cair, serta mudah dibuat dengan biaya yang terjangkau. Filter ini memiliki permeabilitas udara sebesar 400\u20132500 \u00d7 10\u207b\u2077 cm\u00b2. Selain itu, filter busa keramik ini memiliki porositas sebesar 0,80\u20130,95. Selanjutnya, filter ini ditandai dengan 5 hingga 45 lubang per inci linier dan kisaran ketebalan filter efektif sebesar 1\/2 hingga 4 inci. Telah ditemukan bahwa filter ini sangat cocok untuk menyaring logam cair, terutama aluminium cair.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam kondisi normal, gunakan saringan yang lebih halus dengan permeabilitas udara sebesar 400 hingga 2500\u00d710\u207b\u2077 cm\u00b2, porositas sebesar 0,80 hingga 0,95, dan 20 hingga 45 lubang per inci linier, terutama untuk menyaring paduan aluminium Seri 5000. Namun, jika logam yang masuk sangat kotor, logam tersebut harus disaring terlebih dahulu. Filter logam busa keramik yang relatif kasar memiliki PPI antara 5 dan 20, ukuran pori 2500 hingga 8000\u00d710\u207b\u2077 dan permeabilitas udara cm\u00b2, serta porositas antara 0,90 dan 0,95. Hal ini dapat dicapai dengan menyediakan satu filter keramik yang memiliki karakteristik gradasi atau dengan menggunakan serangkaian filter dengan porositas yang berbeda-beda.<\/p>\n<p>Metode penyaringan logam cair aluminium melalui filter busa keramik ditandai dengan penggunaan laju aliran sebesar 5 hingga 50 inci kubik logam cair per menit per inci persegi luas permukaan filter untuk melewati filter tersebut. Sesuai dengan penerapan filter di pabrik aluminium, logam cair dapat disaring terlebih dahulu melalui filter busa keramik kasar, kemudian disaring melalui filter yang lebih halus dan lebih disukai menurut penemuan ini.
