Aluminium Refining Degassing Treatment | Degassing Unit

Aluminium Refining process: inert gas storage tank → online degassing unit gas control cabinet → graphite rotor nozzle → processed aluminum alloy melt → purification.

The working principle of Aluminium Refining degassing treatment: a degassing unit is placed between the holding furnace and the casting machine, and the nitrogen blown into the aluminum alloy melt is chopped by the rotating graphite rotor in the Aluminium Refining degassing treatment pool to form a large number of dispersed bubbles. The alloy liquid and nitrogen are fully contacted in the treatment tank. According to the air pressure difference and the principle of surface adsorption, the bubbles absorb hydrogen in the melt and adsorb oxidized slag in the melt, and then rise to the surface of the melt to form scum. The aluminum alloy melt flows from the outlet of the degassing device (located under the scum) to the casting machine, the aluminum alloy liquid continuously enters the degassing device, and nitrogen is continuously blown in. With the progress of purification treatment, the purpose of purifying aluminum alloy liquid is achieved.

Main Components of Aluminium Refining Degassing Device

The processing box includes two inner cavities: a clean room and a heating and holding room. The middle is separated by a partition made of SC material. The bottom of the two chambers is connected. After the aluminum alloy liquid is degassed and slagging in the clean room, it flows in from below the partition. The heat preservation room is kept for heat preservation, and the heat preservation room is heated by immersing the silicon carbide protective tube into the aluminum alloy liquid. The outer casing of the box is made of 10mm steel plate, and the inner lining is made of refractory material. The upper part of the side wall is set There is a slag removal port for observation, inspection, and a slag removal port at the bottom. The front and back of the treatment box are connected as an independent cavity. It is convenient for the heater to directly conduct, and the treated aluminum alloy liquid can be submerged.

There are slag cleaning doors on the lower part of the two side walls of the box. The slag cleaning in the cavity can be completed without starting the box cover, which prolongs the service life of the inner cavity of the box, and its heat preservation performance is also improved. The heat loss is small. The thermal compensation can fully meet the temperature requirements of the production process. The box has good sealing properties, which can prevent air from entering the box and avoid secondary pollution of the aluminum alloy liquid. Equipped with a hydraulic tilting device, it can be completely discharged after the casting work is completed or when the alloy is replaced, and the box can be completely emptied. The heater does not need to be energized for a long time to keep warm, and the power consumption can be relatively reduced.
