Ceramic Foam Filter Bahrain Aluminum, Alu Filter for Foundry

Ceramic Foam Filter Bahrain Aluminum helps absorbing the molten metal leaving behind the impurities. Alu filter is highly porous, has high thermal shock resistance. The filter can work with a temperature of 1200 degrees Celsius. It has a greater degree of physical and chemical stability. Alumina ceramic foam filter can be used for non-ferrous alloys of aluminum.

Ceramic Foam Filter Bahrain Aluminum

Alumina Ceramic Foam Filter Bahrain Aluminum is mainly for filtration of aluminium and aluminium alloys in the foundry.

With their excellent resistance to attack and corrosion from molten aluminum, the foundry ceramic foam filters can effectively remove inclusions, reduce trapped gas and provide laminar flow, and then the filtered metal is significantly cleaner.

Cleaner metal results in higher-quality castings, less scrap, and fewer inclusion defects, all of which contribute to a bottom-line profit for Bahrain aluminum foundry.

Bahrain Aluminum BSC, or Alba for short, is one of the largest industrial companies in the Middle East and one of the largest aluminum producers in the world. The company is headquartered in Bahrain and 84% of its employees are Bahraini nationals.

Since 1971, Alba has been a smelter with an annual output of 120,000 metric tons, which has continuously created value for customers, shareholders and stakeholders. Alba is the world’s largest aluminum smelter outside of China, with an annual output of more than 1.548 million tons (mtpa) (2020).

In 2017, the company set a historical record of 981,016 metric tons. The company produces aluminum products, including billets, liquid metal, standard steel ingots, rolled plates, propertyzi, etc.

The Alba campus includes six reduction lines, three power stations, four foundries, four carbon factories and other auxiliary facilities. In addition to primary aluminum production, there is also a dedicated coke calcining plant that produces 530,000 metric tons/year of high-quality calcined petroleum coke. Alba also produces 9.5 million cubic meters of drinking water annually from its dedicated desalination plant.
