The molten aluminum produced by the smelting and heat preservation of the aluminum ingot and the molten aluminum through the aluminum melting furnace and the holding furnace enters the molten aluminum degassing filter device through the molten aluminum launder. After degassing and filtering, the molten aluminum enters the front box through the ceramic launder. The molten aluminum in the front box enters the roll gap of the casting-rolling mill through the casting nozzle. The two rolls of the casting-rolling mill are cooled by water. The aluminum melt is forced to cool in the gap between the casting rolls and crystallizes and solidifies, and completes the two processes of solidification and heating by the casting rolls, which are in a short interval (casting zone) And completed in a short time to form an aluminum strip. The head of the aluminum strip blank is sent to the hydraulic shearing machine through the guide roller and the pinch roller. The aluminum strip enters the coiler through the deflector roller after the cutting head. The reel of the coiler is provided with a clamping jaw, the head of the aluminum strip enters the jaw, and the reel is tightened and rotated to wind the aluminum strip into a roll. The exit guide rolls, pinch rolls, and deflector rolls of the casting roll in the unit are all provided with compulsory water cooling. The flow trough between the furnace mouth and the degassing filter device is equipped with liquid level control for the molten aluminum.

The conveying launder is a heat preservation channel for conveying molten aluminum. The shell of the launder is welded by steel plate, and the U-tank made of thermal insulation material is installed inside. The launder should be designed to be as short as possible, and at the same time, it is best to be airtight. One can avoid excessive drop in the temperature of the molten aluminum, and secondly, it can avoid secondary pollution of the molten aluminum. At present, capped closed runners are mostly used in China. To facilitate maintenance, the runner should be movable or detachable.
