Molten Metal CFF filtration grade between 20 and 80 ppi

The molten metal CFF filtration grade (blended) is between 20 and 80 ppi, but the most commonly used is 30ppi.50ppi.

The layout of molten metal CFF includes single-layer filtration and double-layer filtration.

Advantages of ceramic foam  filter
1. Low cost.
2. The alloy varieties are easy to replace.
3. Easy installation.
4. Roughly small and proper operation.
5. For impurities larger than 10um, the filtering effect is> 95%.

Inclusions in the matrix affect the fracture process of aluminum alloy accessories.

When the tensile stress exceeds the yield strength, first plastic deformation occurs near the crack tip to form a plastic zone, which leads to stress cracks and blunt cracks.

With the expansion of the plastic zone, the inclusions at the front end of the crack enter the plastic zone.

Because the binding force between the inclusions and the matrix is relatively weak, under the action of tensile stress, the inclusions are separated from the matrix, forming initial micropores.

As the refractive index continues to increase, the internal necking between the crack tip and the pores intensifies, causing the crack tip and pores to gather quickly, and the crack starts to expand forward.

Therefore, inclusions are conducive to the formation of initial micropores and have a serious impact on crack propagation.
