3 The filtering device according to claim 1, is characterized in that at least one of the plurality of ceramic foundry filter comprises a first layer defining the first side of the porous ceramic filters and a second layer defining the second side of the porous ceramic plate, wherein the first layer and the second layer have a significantly different filtration distribution defined between the first side and the second side of the porous ceramic filters.
