Sodium-free Refining Agent

The sodium-free refining agent used for aluminum alloy smelting has a significant effect of removing hydrogen during the refining process, and can fully remove oxide inclusions in the melt, and the hot slag recovery is more convenient and the recovery rate is higher. The refining agent can refine the alloy to a certain extent. It does not contain sodium salt and has a good refining effect.

When aluminum alloy sodium-free refining agent is used for refining aluminum alloy, it can be used with nitrogen or argon to blow into the furnace to obtain a better hydrogen removal effect.

Sodium-free Refining Agent

The preparation method of aluminum alloy refining agent includes the following steps:

Crush each raw material separately and pass through a 60-80 mesh screen;
Put the prepared raw materials into the mixer according to the proportion by weight and mix them thoroughly to obtain a uniform mixture;
Put the obtained homogeneous mixture into an oven or a tumble drying barrel, and bake for 2-3 hours at 100~105°C;
The homogenous mixture after baking is sieved with an 80-mesh screen, cooled to 40 degrees, packed and sealed to obtain the finished aluminum alloy sodium-free refining agent.

Advantages of Aluminum Alloy Sodium-free Refining Agent

1) The hydrogen removal effect is significant, and the H content can be reduced to a level of about 0.10~0.16ml/100gAl;
2) It can fully remove the oxide inclusions in the melt, and the slag removal rate can reach more than 90%; and the hot slag recovery is more convenient and the recovery rate is higher;
